What is an authorized user?

An authorized user is a user who can log on to a portal. If the user is not allowed to log on, the user is a public user.

Authorized users may create pages and styles, as well as edit and delete the objects they have created. Authorized users also appear in the list of users to whom privileges may be granted for pages created by other users.
